Goofy Boy & Doctor Appts

Now that Caleb is moving/crawling he's started to discover some new, fun things do to in the house.  Recently he crawled over to the sliding glass door in our porch and pressed his face against the glass.  He was being really goofy!  He thought it was pretty funny and kept doing it, so I went outside on our deck to get some pictures of his funny faces.

We went to an appointment last week for Caleb's helmet.  The doctor said that he head looks really good!  Patrick and I totally agree that you can see a big change in the shape of Caleb's head.  Caleb will have been wearing the helmet for 12 weeks on Friday (he first started wearing it on January 20th).  His next appointment is on April 23rd and he will have another 360-degree scan of his head to measure the shape and how much it's changed since we started.  I'm really, really hoping that when we're there we get the news that Caleb's done with the helmet.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.  :)

Caleb went to his 9-month check-up this Monday.  Although we have to "deal" with this helmet right now...we are very blessed because we have a healthy little boy.  Here are his stats:

Length:  29" (66th percentile)
Weight:  21 lb. 10 oz. (65th percentile)

Here are his 9-month pictures.  You can see a shot of me trying to get him to smile for the camera.  And then another shot when he was ready for the photo shoot to be over!

Last, here's a cute picture of Sierra & Summit heading up our neighborhood watch program.  They don't typically share the couch....so we liked this shot of them sitting together.
