Summit's Good Aim

Quick Update: Patrick and I were just playing with the puppies and Summit decided that he had to go to the bathroom. We're currently working on potty training. This time Summit stood over a heating/air conditioner vent and went pee directly down the vent!!! Patrick and I didn't even know how to react! Usually we grab him quickly and take him outside, but this time we stood frozen and then started laughing. Oh puppies!!!!!

Starting up...

Hi Everyone -

I'm following in Amy's footsteps and starting a blog. Just wanted to have a way to let people know what's going on in our life and share some pictures. Our family lives in so many different places, hopefully this is a way to connect more often.

So here we go.....Our new car has been in the shop in the middle of Iowa for the last 3 weeks. We were driving home from Des Moines on Easter weekend and there was an issue with the transmission. They tried to fix it twice already; however, the fix didn't work (something with the computer transmission module). They finally decided to replace the entire transmission and now it's fixed!!! We're driving to Mason City, Iowa tonight to go and pick up our car. Finally!!!! Also, Patrick's golf clubs are in the trunk of the new car so I think he's pretty excited to have those back. Of course, the puppies will be coming with us! Sierra is at doggy day care today to get some energy out before the car ride.

Sierra and Summit are becoming fast friends. They love to play together! Sierra sometimes will play a little rough, so I'm sure she'll be excited as Summit continues to grow and can actually keep up with her. Summit also loves to try and cuddle with Sierra when they lay down after playing. Summit is 10 weeks old tomorrow and Sierra will be 11 months on May 14th. We're working on getting Summit to sleep past 5:00 a.m. Today he didn't start whining to get out of his kennel until 6:00 a.m.! We're making progress! Here are some pictures of the two puppies.
